Celebro takes it civic responsibility very seriously, whether it’s supporting new entrants to the media through training and mentorship, promoting diversity within the workplace and innovation, or finding ways to support initiatives that it thinks are important.

NATIONAL CENTRE OF SUICIDE PREVENTION

Studios

In 2019, Celebro supported the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Training, by providing its studios and production expertise pro bono for two days. The team worked on a film and conference for the charity, to help it in its goal of encouraging conversation about suicide – whether by survivors or by those who have been affected by it.

WORLDWIDE ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN JOURNALISTS AND WRITERS

Sponsorship

In 2018, Celebro sponsored the 23rd Congress of the Worldwide Association of Women Journalists and Writers. Bringing together 400 people from 40 countries to London, the event looked at how to get a broader diversity of voices across the media. It was held at the BBC, Google, and two major UK universities, and featuring high profile speakers.

GIFT OF LIFE

Charity Support

For several years start, Celebro has been supporting Gift of Life, a Russian charity dedicated to helping children suffering from cancer. Celebro has filmed multiple events, both on location and in its studios.

It also provides pro bono services to Clever Psychology, which hosts a series of events and seminars bringing together experts in child psychology to develop new approaches.

Celebro has been providing studio services to the BBC’s Children in Need over the last few years.

BEN COHEN STAND UP FOUNDATION

In 2015 and 2016 Celebro supported Ben Cohen’s Stand Up Foundation, which aims to help organisations across the UK stamp out bullying. Former England Rugby captain Ben Cohen recorded a series of videos interviews and voice overs for use as promotional material for the charity’s multiple galas, dinners and award ceremonies.
